MMBJ: Key Considerations for IT Governance
Although it can be tempting to delegate all things technology-related to the “tech department,” governance of information technology needs to be a top-down process involving representatives from executive management as well as staff. By developing priorities and strategies relating to information technology, business owners can facilitate the delivery of value to stakeholders while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. During this breakout session, we will discuss the issues on which business leaders should be focused and the actions that business leaders should take to guide the business toward productive and profitable use of information technology while minimizing related risks.
